SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering expert services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it's alarmed with regards to the superior range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] website is to reach-out to the substantial quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis. The assistance level created for intervention activities a high influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more methods to empower the servicing of all prospects and maximize access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
